Seica awarded for the outstanding work in the area of “Manufacturing and R&D”

Seica, Inc. was recognized on June 9^th by the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce (MVCC) for its outstanding work in the area of “Manufacturing and R&D.” Accepting on behalf of Seica was Mr. David Sigillo, VP of Seica North America.  The award was presented by the President of MVCC, Mr. Joseph Bevilacqua, and Mr. Robert Nelson, United States Small Business Administration Director for Massachusetts. At the ceremony, Mr. Sigillo spoke of Seica’s work in the area of testing electronics and electric vehicle batteries, and of the fact that Seica employs a number of graduates of the University of Massachusetts.

The MVCC has over 1000 corporate and business members, and represents approximately 12 communities, which have a combined population of over 500,000, in northeast Massachusetts.  Along with the MVCC award, an official citation was given to Seica by the Massachusetts State Auditor, Ms. Diana DiZoglio.
